This magnetometer is our most remote magnetometer, located on the Chatham Islands, roughly 800 km to the East of Christchurch. This installation is be possible thanks to the aid of the Otago Museum and the Te One Science House on the Chatham Islands. The connection to this site can be temperamental, due to the unstable power infrastructure on the island.
