This and subsequent pages are intended as complete documentation of the MANA network, the equipment, the install sites, and the codebase running the network. This documentation is split into sections, briefly described below, and then covered in excruciating detail in individual pages.
MANA equipment
Each MANA magnetometer site consists of at the very least a magnetometer and the logging equipment. Some sites are more complex than this, but this is the bare minimum. The Equipment section of the documentation will first broadly cover the equipment used at each site, and then will go into site-specific equipment, as well as any known quirks or issues.
MANA sites
There are in total 5 sites in the immediate MANA network, with additional data pulled from two nearby intermagnet sites when the need arises. Some of these sites are more troublesome than others, for a number of different reasons. The Siting section will cover each of the MANA sites in turn, along with any known data issues, what we’ve done about it so far, and any other information I can think of that might be useful.
