This magnetometer is our most remote magnetometer, located on the Chatham Islands, roughly 800 km to the East of Christchurch. This installation is be possible thanks to the aid of the Otago Museum and the Te One Science House on the Chatham Islands. This magnetometer was removed in late 2025 at the end of the first project, to be moved to a new mainland location.
