Notes:

The magnetometer at Tutamoe was our final variometer to be installed, on a farm in rural Northland. For a number of reasons, this site is powered by solar power, as opposed to the mains power used by the rest of our sites. This proves to be a double-edged swword – the remoteness of this site, enabled by the freedom the solar panel affords us, this site is by far our quietest site, providing incredibly clear and quiet data. However, despite our best efforts, the solar setup we have designed has proven to occassionally provide inadequate power to keep our batteries charged (typically during extended overcast periods during winter), resulting in irretrievable data losses.
